Have the day off for the Holiday and how nice it is to be able to fully relax before meeting this evening. Yesterday a wonderful family from our congregation invited me join them at the Spanish convention for the afternoon. It was so lovely to see many of the precious brothers and sisters from the local congregations that I've had the chance to meet since moving here. Hearing the Spanish Kingdom Melodies was just a joy! I love sign language and having the opportunity to be a part of the beauty of signing in unison, but it sometimes is difficult as a hearing person to not hear our songs regularly.
I got so much out of the convention and was happy to be able to use my Spanish for a longer period of time than normal. Elvira has been coming to the meetings regularly as well and she has been amazing.. always prepared with her Bible and dressed up so beautifully every week. The speaker Saturday was from Juarez ASL congregation so he and his family were an extra treat this week.

Bilingual Ninos
Sweet show that many down here love...kids learn languages so quickly it's nice to see that american television programs are finally starting to catch up with the rest of the world and providing shows that include multilingual characters..
