Fresh & Fruity
The Fruit Man came in today. With his awesome 1970's teal pick-up truck and array of fruits. That is one of the many things I love about El Paso. So many small business men and women out there selling home made and grown foods and goods just like the good ol' days. I believe we'd still have milkmen down here if it wasn't for the heat. True-biz small town in a big city. Gotta love it!

On a serious note this photo reminds me of some of the beautiful photos our friend Christina shared with us from Peru. I know she moved to India and then heard to Africa following...wonder how she's doing now?Absolutely Breathtaking!
Jewelry has always fascinated me as it has been worn for centuries in every culture (that is except by the Amish) but it makes me wonder who the first person was to think, "hmmm maybe I should put string around this stone and then wear it on my neck" Of course this leads to my Mum's 'if you give a mouse a cookie' theory in which of course you begin to ponder who was the first crazy person to put a needle to their ear?!
